1) DIET: If you are bulking, consume extra calories. Consume a 50-100 grams in protein drink daily.
2) TRAINING: Lift heavy weight for lower reps. Take longer breaks in between sets. Avoid too much cardio. Get a spotter and go as heavy as possible. Do 4 sets per exercise. Do the first 3 sets utilizing perfect form. On set #4, go hard and heavy. Get plenty of rest and recovery. Train no more then 5 days per week. You do not want to train any muscle more then twice in 1 week.
1) DIET: If you are cutting and shredding, do NOT cut calories. Instead, eat clean. No fast food. No soda. Consume an extra 50-100 grams in protein daily. Any cheap protein will be suffice. Eat an hour prior to training. Try to avoid too many carbohydrate AFTER you hit the gym.
2) TRAINING: Super high reps is NOT the answer. Instead, consider warming up with 10-15 minutes of brisk cardio to get the heart pumping. Another option is to go light and do 50 repititions of squat or bench press before beginning. During your regimen, keep reps between 10-15 and be sure to rest as little as possible in between sets and exercises. The goal here is "keep it moving". You should train 5-6 days a week alternating light and heavy days.
